Care
Proper care of your UV/LED nail lamp ensures consistent curing performance, safety, and a longer device lifespan. Follow these maintenance tips:
1. Keep It Clean
- Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth or a cloth lightly dampened with alcohol.
- Avoid using acetone or harsh chemicals directly on the lamp as they can damage the plastic.
- Remove dust and residue regularly, especially from the base plate and light bulbs/LEDs.
2. Avoid Moisture and Spills
- Do not allow gels, liquids, or water to spill inside the lamp.
- If a spill occurs, unplug the device immediately and clean thoroughly before using again.
3. Use as Intended
- Only use the lamp for curing nail products that are compatible with UV/LED light.
- Do not place hands or objects with oils, lotions, or wet products directly inside before curing.
4. Protect the Bulbs
- Avoid touching the LED bulbs directly.
- If your lamp uses replaceable bulbs, make sure they’re installed correctly and replaced when dim or malfunctioning.
5. Handle with Care
- Always unplug the lamp when not in use.
- Avoid dropping or shaking the unit, as this can damage the internal components or LED lights.
- When moving or storing, place it in a dust-free, dry, and cool area.
6. Maintain Ventilation
- Ensure the air vents are free from obstructions to prevent overheating.
- Do not block the airflow when the lamp is in use.
7. Avoid Prolonged Use
- Allow the lamp to cool down between back-to-back uses to prevent overheating or reduced efficiency.
By maintaining your UV/LED nail lamp properly, you’ll ensure safe, hygienic, and effective curing for every session.
