Care
Proper maintenance of your nail dust collector ensures effective performance, cleaner workspaces, and a longer device lifespan. Follow these tips to keep it in top shape:
Keep it clean
- Wipe down the surface of the unit with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth after each use.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or soaking the machine with liquids.
- Always turn off and unplug the device before cleaning.
Empty or replace the filter regularly
- If your dust collector uses a reusable filter, remove and clean it regularly with a brush or vacuum.
- For disposable filters or bags, replace them as recommended by the manufacturer.
- A clogged filter reduces suction power and may damage the motor.
Avoid overloading
- Do not allow dust to accumulate excessively before cleaning or emptying the filter.
- Clean between clients or at least daily, depending on usage.
Store properly
- Store the machine in a dry, dust-free area when not in use.
- Avoid placing heavy items on top of the device.
Ensure proper airflow
- Keep the air vents unobstructed during use.
- Do not block the intake or exhaust areas to prevent overheating.
- Use as intended
- Only use the dust collector for nail work and avoid vacuuming liquids or large debris.
- Follow the recommended working time limits and let the machine rest if it's used continuously for long periods.
Inspect regularly
- Check the power cord, plug, and motor sound routinely.
- Stop using the device if you notice unusual noise, smell, or weak suction, and have it serviced if needed.
